Free Blender add-on
The HoovyTools session importer is on the Workshop too. It brings full SFM sessions, animations, cameras and facial flex data into Blender, and its Workshop page lists chunked session imports, armature matching and HWM facial controller baking.
Session import runs on top of SourceIO, so install that first. Downloads and step-by-step install are on the HoovyTools page.

Every VTF and VMT in Candle Particles is custom-made, so no DLC is needed. The Airstrike Explosion page also says no DLC is required.

The size comes from 30+ FPS animated smoke and candle-burn sprites in custom VTFs.
The .glb sources are credited to xtremederpie and Per's Scan Collection. HoovyTube ported them and made the textures and bumpmaps, and the artwork is by NukeWizard.
